What is the first step to getting a job with the postal service?

The first step is to go to www.usps.com click on jobs. It will take you to a page of positions and the test numbers. Click on one of them to see if the test is available. Go to their web site: www.usps.com and look for a careers link. I think there is an on-line application to fill out then they will contact you. You can probably see on their site what areas are hiring. I live in LA California and I know they hire and train out of certain locations but then they will try to place you as... More
