Will working at a fast food restaurant cause acne?

I have acne prone skin, but I've had my acne under control for the past year. I am getting ready to start a fast food job and I was wondering if my acne might get bad again due to the oily atmosphere?

Yes, it can make it worse. You can keep it fairly under control if you take great care not to touch your face. Your hands are going to be greasy and your clothes and hair will smell like grease most of the time as well. You'll probably be okay if you can keep from touching your face.

Yes, it may worsen acne. The oils practically permeate the air and if you are wearing a polyester uniform, this really traps in oil and bacteria and you may begin to get acne on your back and chest. However, if you are taking medication for your acne, you may be lucky and not have any major flares.
