What have people's experiences been with temp agencies?

I graduated in December of 2006 with a degree in Computer Science, but I have had no success with finding a job. I need to find work now to help pay some bills and get some experience, so I have been considering temp agencies to try and find something like that. I'd like to know what people's experiences have been with them. Specifically, right now, I'm looking at Adecco Technical and Manpower Professional. The initial agency I interviewed with was Robert Half Technology, but it has been a month and they have not found anything, and I just did some research for reviews and only found negative ones. Anyway, I'd appreciate any help with this. Also, if you know any sites with reviews from people about the agencies, that would help as well.

Find a full-time job. Temp agencies suck. I had two jobs both lasted one day each. It might say three months duration, but if they don't like you, it's alot shorter.

Hell no temp agencies completely suck. You could at least get into a company staring in a small IT position and work your way up to something more with a degree like that at least.
