Where is the best place for 2 single 24 yr old guys to live at in Phoenix Area?

Me and a friend a planning on moving out of Kansas to the Phoenix area this year early next. I plan on transfering with my current job ( Cox Communications) and my friend will be needing a job (Currently cooks for Applebees Chain) Im thinking about tempe because i hear there is lots to do at night and i have been told its alot nicer then Phoenix. is it reasonable to find a decent apartment in that area for 650-750? Is there alot of jobs in the area? ( worried about my roomate to be finding a job quickly) Or perhaps im looking in the wrong area.... im betting the cox offices i will work at will be close to downtown phoenix.... Any advice for us moving to the area??? Whats does a 2 bedroom apartment cost near mesa?

The grounds are nice, they have 3 swimming pools, and a work out room all included in the rent as well. The apartments... More
