what area of construction can i go into if i am afraid of heights?

i dont want to be up on a 60 story building,but i have no problem being in the heat or dirt? i quess what area would be good for a women. thanks for the replies but i meant like in management like estimator, scheduler, or project managaer.

Carpentry, plumbing, um... installation (of washers/dryers/dishwashers), cabinetry... anything that can be built in a house but doesn't require you to climb! :)

Be aware that Industrial Construction (like Boilermakers, Ironworkers, etc) is traditionally a "man's man" industry. If you are at all touchy about dirty jokes, foul language, etc go somewhere else. It's a tough job for tough people... More
