What's your success rate in applying for jobs?

I'm a university student and applied to some part-time jobs for the summer. I'm a bit discouraged, because I was rejected to two competitive/prestigious jobs at a federal courthouse and law firm. I also applied online to two cashier jobs that I saw through an online advertisement, but nobody even responded to my email. I applied to one more job through a flyer and I interviewed, and I still haven't heard back. I'm getting really discouraged, and tbh it's pretty discouraging. I'm planning on going to graduate school so I hope I can avoid this from now until I finish...

Ask this at, a message board for reccent college grads entering the workforce (many of whom are finding it hard to get jobs). Rejection is part for the course. I only get about 5% of the jobs that I apply for.
