How to get an entry IT Project Management job?

Hi, I'm an engineer, with a masters degree in telecom. I like people, and dealing with projects more than dealing all the time with technical things. I would like to enter in the PM area, since I had a class about it in my degree. But all the jobs I look for seem to requiere years and years of PM experience. How can I do? I feel lost. Thanks

there are two possible certifications in PM, PMP and CAPM - if you apply for the second one there is no requirement for 3yrs experience and it is still recognized as project management certificate.

Check out International Inst. of Learning on the Web (IIL.com) They offer Project Management Certification. Even if you don't want to get tested for certification, you will definitely get all the knowledge (the body of knowledge) you need to be an excellent project manager. You can take classes in person or on line.
