How can a beginning pharmacy technician get hired by a hospital pharmacy without experience other than school?

Specifically, I would like to work in either an outpatient or more so, and inpatient pharmacy in a hospital setting. I would much rather do this than work in a retail setting. Can anyone recommend a process or tips or ideas about how to go about getting hired bya hospital, when all the ads I see for hospital pharm tech openings seem to require one year experience right off the bat? I feel as though it's nigh impossible to get anywhere unless given a chance, and that chance just doesn't seem to be out there. How can I get experience pertinent to a hospital pharmacy if I'm working in a retail pharmacy like Walgreens for example? What about IV and TPN prep experience? Not gonna get that at Costco or Walmart, am I? Even more specifically, anybody out there work for the Sutter Health, Kaiser or UCSF pharmacy systems here in the Bay Area in California? Please help!
