Should we buy a web site, we are a small grocery?
Here's the scoop, we own a small grocery in a town with no competition. We have a small university of 1500 students. My wife thinks we need a website because "everybody has one". She said we could sell stuff on it but I don't know if she is right or not. There may be a lot involved in doing so, with delivery and such. Plus we really need a new parking lot this year. What are some of the things we should do before we talk to a consultant??? And what should we expect the consultant to tell us??? What would you tell a small business owner who wants a site with no clear objective??? Detailed opinions and comments please.
