When you fill in a job application, is it the truth?

I mean to say, couldn't you justify putting an extra 0 on the end of your yearly salary. And those spells in clink, are best put down as self-employed. The question is, is basically the truth with a few nuances and omissions and downright porkies or is it a fictional tale that cannot be checked out, cause the only truthful bits are the last years employment disaster, which the new boss could check out.

The long and the short of it is, that if they find out you lied before you get the job, you will not be hired. If they find out that you lied after you get the job, they can fire you on the spot... More

Yes its the truth...if I really need the job. I am not going to fu*k something by telling a lie. That is dumb if you really want/need the job.
