Dos and don'ts in an interview for a sales position in a jewellery shop?

I've never done sales before, let alone promoting or selling jewellery. I guess some level of sophistication is expected from you if you want to work for a jeweller? Anything else I should know if I want to ace the interview? Please help as I need this job. Thank you. Jewelry is American English spelling while jewellery is British English spelling - I do know how to spell.
