Can you make decent money selling Mary Kay?

I have heard of people and have seen directors that supposedly make a ton of cash but I just don't see how from selling makeup. I am not puting it down. Just tell me how to make money at it because it sure seems like it would beat a desk job plus I could be with my kids more.

you can make decent money selling anything as long as you are good at it and have the right personality and motivation. alot of people who are successful in independent sales are more outgoing and love interaction with people. i don't, therefore my cubicle is my home away from home. ;p
