What do we need to do?

I think we need to take care of the sick, feed the hungry, and make sure that everyone who wants or needs to work has a chance at employment. In the process of doing this we need to stop importing energy from countries full of people who hate us.

What do you think and why.

Is it our responsiblity as a country to concern ourselves with the poverty and plight of other countries!!? That is the real question here. I know how that sounds and please hear me out before people start calling me names. We have homeless, unemployed and hungry people right here in our own country. By setting an example is the best way to help others. I go by the biblical saying that if you feed a man fish, he eats for a day, however, if you teach a man how to fish, than he eats for a lifetime!! There are however, some countries out there, that no matter what type of humanitarian efforts we take, their people will always starve. Throwing money at the problem is not the answer!! I believe in the words of John F Kennedy, the government should not give hand outs but a hand up!! We as a country and as a whole have more than enough food, water, and OIL to supply ourselves. Yet with the new enviromental restrictions, many of which are rediculous!! We have to rely on other countries to supply our own demand. In the 40's and 50's this country thrived because we, the United States of America were isolationist. We took care of our own and because of that we were the most repsected country in the world and the wealthiest!! We have the "Garden of Eden" right here at our fingertips!! We have everything that we need to survive. So why? Plus, when it comes to other countries, we can not save the people if the government of that country is corrupt!! Those people need to rise up on their own and fix their own problems. We did and no one helped us!! It is time for people of this world to handle their own problems and be responsible for their actions or lack there of. The US needs to step back from the rest of the world and remember what it means to be an American!! Since when do we look to other countries to tell us and teach us how to do things? It is all leading towards the new world order which I am very much against and I feel would destroy life here as we know it!! Even China is starting to see that a capitalistic economy is the best way to go. They are slowly changing their way of thinking. Ofcourse, they have a long way to go. We are the example to the world as a free society, or atleast we used to be. Since when do we care if Englanders pay $5 for a gallon of gasoline? Since when do we care if there is civil unrest in other countries, especially if the unrest has been ongoing for thousands of years. We are not the world's police and we shouldn't be!! We really need to get back to the basics of this country and not follow the socialistic views. The government is not the answer to our problems, the people are. As far as employment, I agree that everyone who needs and wants to work should be able to, however, lately there are even more problems in that area. Smokers are becoming more and more discriminated against because companies are adopting policies that if you smoke, no job. Though I agree smoking is bad for you, I do not agree that anyone should be denied employment based on a personal choice of habit that is completely legal!! I think the answer is our grassroots!! I think everyone who votes should be made to read the constitution and the bill of rights again. We are way off course from what our fore father envisioned!! We do not need a radical right wing group and we do not need the radical leftist group either. We just need good old common sense!! We are slowly loosing control over our own children because the government now thinks that they can raise our children better than we can. Though I do not believe that anyone should grossly abuse their children, a good spanking once in a while teaches children that there are boundaries and if you cross the boundaries, there is a consequence. It does not take a village to raise a family, it takes common sense and parents who take responsibility for having the children in the first place!! I believe that in the era of the sixties with the free love and hippie movement, that is when the country as a whole started to collapse. Now those same hippies are grown up and in government office!! Ever since the summer of free love, there has been horrible things that have happened to this country. We have taken God out of everything as to not offend. But this country was founded on GOD!! Abortion became legal because of the free love movement in the 60's, because women were dying from botched abortions because everyone was having unprotected sex!! Then came no prayer in schools and so on and so on!! We can't even call Christmas, Christmas anymore!! What happened to freedom of speech, what happened to freedom of religion? I for one am offended that I can not call Christmas, Christmas or Easter, Easter!! I know that I seem to have gotten way off course, but it all goes hand in hand!! It all fits together!! Back to the main question, we have more than enough oil in Texas and Alaska to support our own demand, but the enviromentalist wackos want the new world order, so they have forced us to rely on other countries who do hate us and now drive our economy!! Everyone needs to just step back and quit listening to people like the Clintons!!

Since that is not the governments role, it sounds pretty naive.

I do support alternative energy and the drilling for oil in Alaska.

The government must protect us from threats which currently is primarily overseas. Despite those politicians who use the deaths of my brothers to buy your vote, we must continue to fight terrorism.

I too think we should try to make the world better. Also,
a stated goal of Bush is to reduce our dependence on the
middle east for oil and he is actively doing that. The
percentage of oil coming from the middle east being used in
America is going down. While the percentage of oil from
other places like Africa is going up.
I also wonder why more effort isn't being made to find
alternative fuels. Everyone knows the oil supply is going to
run dry. What kind of world will it become. Oil is used to
lubricate the machinery in factories that make everything we
use. And I don't believe using our food supply to make fuel
is a good idea at all. In fact it's almost criminal. Hitler used
up the entire potato crop of Germany in 1945 and the people
almost starved the following year. When the oil runs out will
people starve because massive tracts of land are being
used for fuel instead of food? How much will a pound of corn
fed chicken or beef cost if there will even be such a thing by
then? What kind of world will the children of our children live
in?

But the personnel section does much more than simply "recruit" staff. Typically they might possess a large chart showing the organisation. Changes in personnel map to other changes. It might be absurd to throw this away and replace it by some new-fangled management theory.

Many times a lot of people claim against almost everything: national government, district council, political parties, House of Representatives, police, bosses, parent, family, brothers and sisters, relatives, prices, cost of life, price of petrol, banks fees, jobs, schools, teachers and professors, friends, whether etc. But what are we doing to help to solve the problems of our community, district council, country? What we are doing to help to keep, protect, conserve our public property or the private property? Or to study and be a good students? Or to work and be a good workers? Or to respect the traffic rules? Or to avoid the misuse of alcohol and drugs? Or to respect the rights of others? What is really our civic participation? To claim is easy, to do good actions, civic actions is constructive. It is not enough to say I am a New Zealander, I am a citizen, I a patriot, but to say "I am doing this good action for my Country, my District Council, my Representative Democracy, my Public Property or Private Property, my school, my High School, my University, my city! The best is to say I have a "civic participation"! Therefore I am proud to be a good New Zealander citizen!!. I do civic action and I am not just claiming. Thanks for your answers.

So today I went in for an interview and I was going in for the 2nd interview by the head chief executive. now this is where it got weird, so she asked me about my previous jobs and said how much she liked that product over that product. then she started talking about her daughter? an her divorce ...then how she didn't finish college because she was making more money doing what she did for this company ... then she talked about how her teenage daughter is a handful... I just played it cool thinking she was using some sort of psychology thing to trick me into saying something stupid. the interview ended and she seemed happy an I was escorted to the door... now I'm freaking confused? is this normal behavior for an executive? like it felt like she was going to burst into tears at one point and tell me her life problems... is this normal? was she trying to see how I react or something?

Basically- no degree, although I have tried completing one in the past and stopped because of physical and mental health issues which were overwhelming to deal with along with going to classes full time. I'm not stupid and I am quite articulate. I am 23 and have only worked for about two years retail in high school and stopped working to go to university. I worked a few months in 2010 retail after I dropped out but it was only a seasonal position, and the only reason why I have not been able to constantly work is because of mental health issues. I had also tried going back to community college during my free time since i left university in 2008/9 and I had panic attacks while in community college, which made my anxiety worse from then on. Well recently I met a good doctor and he prescribed me some meds that are stabilizing my moods and I feel the best I've felt in years, and I'm ready to work. Thing is, I don't know how to get a job now since I've spent literally years being depressed and anxious doing nothing. I don't really have anything to put on my resume, and I never finished my AA degree either. All I've done is cashiering and although I do the job well and I get promoted easily when I do these jobs because I'm a hard worker and I try to go above and beyond what they ask of me,which is the attitude I have no matter what kind of work I'm doing as long as I'm getting paid. But I hate cashiering because it's too easy and I want a job that is more interesting. Any suggestions for me on how to get a job that is NOT Retail with the type of background I have right now? I also realize I have to go to college to get certain types of jobs, I am talking about what I can do right here right now.

Recently I have overlooked for a project at work and I am unable to accept it why? I am hard working, dedicated, maintain a very professional decorum, very cordial with my colleagues and bosses, give respect to one and all. Still people who take the p***, argue with managers, gossip mongers have been selected for some very responsible positions at work. I seriously can't get my head around it why, why unprofessional people who have no work ethics being selected over me, whereas I have a track record of excellent performance and never shy away from any work my manager ask me to do? I am at my lowest point and not getting hold of my manager to ask the question why not me, why them who can't even bother? I am feeling like a complete loser, giving years to this place, building my performance, trust and this is how I get rewarded. Why my life is so shit, anything I wish for turns to dust?

So I have a nice white button up shirt, business skirt and pants, and a suit jacket. I'm applying for a software development job and I'm very short and can look young so I'm trying to look adult, yet professional. I'm also attractive so I'm trying not to look too sexy. For the career fair I'm thinking of wearing just my nice shirt and a skirt with low heels. My reasoning being it's approachable and attractive without going overboard since the career fair hosts are mostly younger male recent grads. I want to be remembered but not intimidating. For my interviews I was thinking pants, suit jacket (power suit). My reasoning being it'll be older execs and HR people (mostly women) so less sexy with the pants but more powerful with the suit jacket. What do you think?!

I am in the process of planning my own wedding and I am having a fantastic time doing so. I have always enjoyed planning things: group vacations for my friends and I, road trips, etc... I could be described as a slight control freak and I am a perfectionist. I know I would exceed, and enjoy my career, if I were to make this a possibility. How do I do it? How do I get my name out there? How much do event planners charge for their services? I have a lot of questions, and hope that people who are self employed would be able to give me some pointers on getting my business up and running. Thank You in advance for your time and help.
