Is the purpose of life to dote over the beautiful and the smart?

Why is a mentally challanged person cannot have an upper level executive job? Why are ordinary looking people not on the cover of magazines? What makes us beautiful? What makes us smart, someone else's expectation?

Yes, our society is a very superficial one and demanding to boot. Being smart and being your own person isnt possible because of all the requirements of living. A mentally challenged person could not perform an executive job for such a person needs people to help make decisions for them while an executive is the one people depend on to make decisions for others.
