Job taking medicine samples to doctors offices?

My mom said she knows a guy who drives around the area giving perscription samples to doctors (I know I've seen people do that at my doc office) and apparently he gets paid very well to do it, and she said they pay for his car and all that....anyone know where you would look or what position would be called for that
