Where can a responsible fourteen year old find a job in Georgia?

Im a resonsible honor student in Atlanta GA living in the Cascade/ Sandtown Area of Southwest Atlanta and Im looking for a decent job so that I can build up my leadership skills and responsibilty skills. Im very reliable, and I just got into the Magnet program for my freshmen year and a job would really would really benefit my future.

Are you legally allowed to work yet? Most states I think you have to be at least 16 WITH your working papers. But just make sure to get your working papers first, b/c since you're so young, no one will probably hire you w/o them! Good Luck!

Try checking with your City Hall or local government because they usually have work programs for students during the summer months. If not, you should petition your mayor,etc. to get such incentives in place for youth. That would be an awesome addition to your resume under leadership skills!

Some restaurants will hire you if you're 14 or 15. You could bus tables, work as a cashier, or in the drive-through. Many won't hire you until you're 16 because you won't be able to do many of the jobs until you're 16... More
