Can you pray for me? What would be a good way to handle this?
Today I lost my job. They needed someone with a better fit for the postion. What would be a good godly way to handle this trial? I was a bit sad because I really liked the postion and I wanted it to work out, but it didn't and I know God is in control. I do not hold any bitterness or animosity to the person who let me go but now I have to start all over again with the job search and it is a full time job just looking for work. Can you pray for me that I have the right heart attifude before the Lord and that God shows me what he wants me to learn through this trial?

The question I have is that is if it is in God's control why do we have to pray. You seem to think he has a plan so what are we praying for? Doenst he already know what is in his plans?

It has happened to me several times at different levels. Keep your eyes open, and a prayer in your heart, and treat others well, and a better opportunity will come about. I am amazed at the things I thought were set backs in my life that have turned out to be real blessings! Good Luck and God Bless!

Yes. It sounds like you are handling it the godly way already. Just pray and ask him to open another door...he has plans for you and he will open a door when one closes.

Yes, you are in the trial from your god. I pray for you. Be good, be calm, be peace and be care. You have time to cool down and see what way you can go now.

A little thought for you to consider---maybe it was God's plan for this job to not work out because He has something better for you? Prayers and Blessings!

I'll pray for you. Just remember, where god closes a door, he always opens a window. God will not let you down, there may be a reason that may make more sense later.
