I really want to start my own business part-time?

This is while I will be working 40-50 hours per week at my full-time job! What are some recommendations you can make far as reading material goes and knowledge that I should know? Any sites you recommend? Any experiences? Anything will be helpful! I am very excited knowing that I can have a business of my own, I am willing to do whatever it takes to make it successful and put in the time and hard work and dedication. I will start it as a small-business and through time hopefully it will turn into a large business. I hear that starting a business on the Internet is the best way to start? Thank you!

As a comment, it's difficult to take part-time businesses seriously. I realize you probably need the income from the full-time position, but you will likely be more successful (more motivated) if this your own business is a full time endeavor.
