I am losing my way can you help me find my way?

Hi. I asked this question for 3 times but I couldn’t find the right answer. I just want to explain my problem again, may be you could find the answer and tell it to me.
I am a20 year old girl from Iran. I’d really like to become a singer from 13. But I had so many limitation that you can’t imagine.
In Iran there are no singing classes so we don’t have vocal coaches. And the other problem is, singing is not a legal activity for women here. These are just the society limitation.
But I faced with my family limitation too. They always told me that it is a ridiculous dream and I can’t become a singer. They told me ugly girl with rough voice. And it is the horrible thing that you can hear from your family.
It is amazing when your mother tell you; you are just an ugly girl. I don’t love my mother even my family. They always trap my mind.
They always wanted to decrease my self-confidence. I had a usual appearance I am not ugly .I had not a good voice but I tried to make it good. Every day I practice more than 5 hours. I like to sing with the singers like Madonna, Mario, beyonce, omarion, Justin. T, j.lo….
I like R@B, Pop and Blues. Now you can understand my willing. But read the following to understand my situation:
Ok. I am a student of English literature in the second year. I don’t have any job. My family prepares all my financial necessities. I ‘d really like to work and because of that I tried to learn about designing web pages and become a Master web designer. It is not my favorite job to become a web designer but I need the money and it’s the only thing that I can do it in order to find a job. Now I try to learn the web design soft wares and read the related books. It’s so hard for me because computer is not my major and I should have self-study. After learning web design I want to go to doubi and take part in prosoft company exam .and if I would not failed I could become a master web designer. But all of that takes time may be 2 years.
And about my university it takes 2 years to finish.
My family told me that they going to send me to Malaysia for m.s in IT. And I don’t really like to go there and waste my time because my family wants it. I waste many years now.
You know I want to immigrate to United States before I become older and start my career as a singer, go to the vocal classes, improve my voice. But I need money for this and my family won’t help me if they find out I want to go to America.
And other problem is visa. The United States government don’t send visa for Iranian people easily. it takes 2 or 3 years.
And now I am confused. What should I do?
Should I go to Malaysia and get my Master of Science degree in IT and then go to America?
Or should I go to America after getting my bachelor degree in English literature? By which money?
In the other hand I just want to learn how to sing and start singing before it’s become too late.
I am so confused. I just want to become singer because I love it .it is not for money, fame… music is my life, I will die if I can’t sing but what should I do with this situation? Please help me to find a way. Even if you know a counselor, tell my problem to him/her.
I am losing my way can you help me find my way?

To be honest, before reading this I thought I had limitations. I see now I have it good! You probably won't like this answer, and I wish I could say follow your dream, but you can't, yet. Go with the flow. Everything is lining up for two years. Sadly, you will have to keep your aspirations to yourself for this time, but in the end it will be well worth it. Keep going with the web designer idea, as it is in high demand and can quickly get you the money you need to get where you want to be. I don't know what lengths your family will go to to get you to concede, but I personally am not underestimating them. Use your English literature classes as a shield to prevent them from sending you to Malaysia. Those classes will really help you in america. Try to get work on websites if possible, on any level you are capable of commiting to. File for a visa as soon as possible, so it will be in the works the entire time. As it stands, you will have to carry on for two years, but as long as you don't forget your goal of being a singer, you will have the strength to make it. I'll be looking forward to hearing about a new Iranian-born singer in two to three years. Remember, it's never too late.

Johira,

If I were you I would get the masters in IT, and try to get some side jobs doing web design. Since you have to be there for at least another 2 years I would make the most of my time there. Website design is an excellent second income generator. I would also do the small things that singers do like create an artist website (Try Myspace artist sites), start taking artist photos and start getting myself in good physical shape. I would immediately apply for my VISA and begin googling ways to better your singing voice for your trip to America. Although it is really hard to become a singer in the U.S., anything is possible, and you have a niche in that you are Iranian and interested in singing American pop music.

Remember to never give up!
