How much would a vet assistant make?
I have an interview with a small animal hospital in my home town here in Lexington, Kentucky. I am sure I will be asked about what I am expected to be paid, but I honestly have no clue. I am currently making $9.25 as an office manager for a small construction contracting office. After reading descriptions of the job and considering it may include working as a receptionist/clerical help, I would figure definately more than minimum wage. For just a receptionist in my area I see offers of $9-$10 and even more. Any advice on where I should start? Don't bother if you're just going to tell me what website I should look at....been there, done that.

I'd ask for at least $10.00 an hour. If you have to do front and back room work, that would be a good place to start.
