What was the weirdest thing you had to do at a job interview?

One of my very first jobs at a coffee shop about 8 years ago, I was asked to draw something - anything I wanted. They hired me because they liked it.

i went to one once where they handed me the game jenga and wanted me to build a tower with it. it was an office job, so that really threw me off. i guess they wanted to see how i solved problems.

I didn't have to DO weird things, but I have been asked weird questions. I've been asked (in more than one interview) what my childcare arrangements are (which is really illegal to ask) and if I am a smoker (which is also illegal). Those questions struck me as really discriminatory. I have also been asked if I know... More

Interview in costume, because it was Halloween. It was an internal interview and our boss wanted us all to dress up for the day - then I got a call to interview with the GM of another unit that afternoon. I was dressed like a construction worker, in overalls and a hard hat - so NOT feminine or sexy at all... More
