Temp jobs in administrative support is so boring?

I have worked many jobs as a temp in the area of administrative support. How boring! They never seem to have anything for me to do and I have to spend all my effort making work to fill the day. I spend so much effort trying to look busy that I am so tired at the end of the day. Being bored is so exusting. Dont you think?

!. Because those tasks are what the permanent employees don't want to do, and; 2. They require very little training (investment on the employer's part). Being bored is more mentally exhausting than anything I can think of. Being busy is stimulating.

I'm bored right now at my temp job, but hey at least I'm getting paid for it. Anything is better than working in the fast food industry. Besides I know it will get busy in about a week.

I can totally relate, the people that put you into the jobs are trying to help, but there has to be a better way for them to find you a position. then they advertise the perfect job, you call and they say they don't have anything....Meanwhile i am starving!

Most temp jobs are boring. Keep at it and they may hire you in permanently. Make it known that this is what you want. Then you can apply for a better position within the company after that like I did.
