How often do infants at the age of 4-6mos need to see a pediatrician?

And what vaccinations/shots are needed during these months? I am asking b/c my husband and I will be moving to a different state when our baby is around 4 mos and the insurance at his new job will not take effect until our baby is 6 mos old.

Generally, they see the doctor for checkups and vaccines every 7-8 weeks until they're over 6 months old, then it's every three months until they're two years old. So, let's say, if your child has his 4 month old vaccines at 15 weeks, it's okay to wait until he's over 6 months old for the next round. (There just needs... More

a baby is usually seen at 2,4,6,9,12, 18mths and then every year after that. the shots given at 4 and 6 mths are Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis (DTaP/DTP/DT/Td), Haemophilus Influenzae type b (HIB), Hepatitis B (HBV), IPV and Pneumococcal Conjugate. Your baby will be given one of each of these at both 4 and 6 mth... More

Go just before baby turns 4 months and then right after they turn 6 months. That is the normal schedule anyways. Few days, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, then one year. My son got about 3-4 shots at each visit at this age. Sorry I can't remember off hand the exact ones.
