Am I ready to be a Manager of a clothing concession? Tell me what you think?

I'm an assistant manager of a department already in House of fraser, It's huge, we take a lot of money and are in charge of around 10 staff. We're also a big branch so take messages for other stores, work closely with our area manager. Have a very high anual turnover and floor space. Do you think it's a good idea, progression wise to apply for concession MANAGER of a smaller department, with around 4 staff including myself? smaller takeover, smaller floor space etc? I know I'm a brilliant assistant manager, I'm very young, but I think that helps a fashon department, fresh ideas etc. I'm just worried about how far I'd get seeing as I've come from being an assistant manager not a manager, but the work scale is different, a lot less work that I'm doing now since it's a smaller department. What is your opinion? Anything would be great! Thanks!

How's the pay in the new job? If its good, go for it. You are young and need the cash. Besides, it will decorate your CV for future opportunities.

If you are happy in your current position stay there. Before you transfer, try and research, find people who worked there before ask why they left, if you know any of the employees ask how the management is. then make your decision, you are the best person to answer your own question

There is a saying, that success always goes to the man who thinks he can. If you think you can't, then you can't. Believe in yourself, starts with you. Do what drives your passion, because passion will make you grow
