Do you think that the democratic controlled congress is doing a good job?

I haven't seen any good results so far - just a lot of discussions and arguments and half-measures. W is still doing what he wants and getting what he wants.

No. At least President Bush is getting something done.

They NEED to move to impeach Bush/Cheney. As long as the Senate is almost evenly divided D/R nothing will get done because the Republicans keep supporting the Bush administration and blocking any real change.

Lots of talk and no action, that's the Dems.

I think a lot more things would get done if they had a larger majority...the republican minority doesnt have a good approval rating either

they have only been there 7 months, but they are beginning to get some momentum...the biggest issues they face is forcing the accountability of the Exec. Branch....you might see this as a waste of time because they are your guys, but they have been twisting the Constitution for 4 years and it's hard to get things back... More

Even though they have the majority of the seats, they still don't have an overwhelming majority to unanimously win any votes.I personally don't like the fact that impeaching Bush was not an option. At least give the people who put you into power the faintest notion that you care.

not especially. I am very disappointed in them. And I am really really mad about them allowing the Fourth Amendment to be basically suspended for 6 months. Who the heck are these people? Not the people we elected.

It is truly amazing that the 100 hours of the Pelosi regime has gotten absolutely nothing done. The democrats can't even agree amongst themselves. And speaking of Pelosi, where is she? We have heard nothing from this speaker that remotely resembles leadership... More

No, they are doing a terrible job, but many of them are being forced to go along with whatever the Shrub wants, and besides, Shrub is doing whatever he wants anyway without consulting anyone--he's a virtual dictator.

Good, no. Typical, yes.

Terrible. They are doing worse than the republican control congress. Special interests, lots of pork and same old, same old....nothing changes only the people have changed. Same retoric and criticism of the war without any solutions. I am totally disgusted.

No, part of the problem is that congressional rules allow the minority party to resist. I beleive that this is a necissary evil. However, another part of the problem is that the democrats are in bed with the republicans on issues that hit us where it really matters; economic, trade, jobs etc. And do not forget that... More
