Does anybody have any experience with Maaco?

The body shop. Are their paint jobs any good? I'm looking to get an antique car (late 60's) painted, but i'm not looking to pay more than $750.

. I've had several cars painted by Maaco, but it was the cheap $250 jobs and the cars were NOT valuable antiques. I was satisfied with what I got , but I had to do the minor body work myself, scrape off rust and prine those spots and beat out a few ents... More

They do a good job but, beware of Maaco, they will give you an estimate for the paint and another much more expensive for any dents your car may have.

if you are willing to do the prep work yourself they are decent paint jobs, just remember you do get what you pay for........ are you planning to keep the car then you might need to repaint it again if you just painting it to up the price then go for it. but be sure your prep work is smooth........ everything shows up... More

Maaco is a very low end shop and they relly don't do professional paint jobs. They do the chemical wash and then mask off the glass and trim and then paint over bird poop and rust and dirt and anything else still stuck to the car. Earl Scheib is the same... More
