Is it possible to get a job as an accountant without a degree?

Is it possible to get a job as an accountant without a degree? I have a semester left in school and what to start looking now but will I be hired if I do not yet have my degree? I have 2 years expereince in an accounting department.

Most definitely. A lot of companies will hire you on as an intern (though still paid) and work with you and your schedule as you complete your schooling. Hard to say but I would think it's possible! They may even hire you in as a bookkeeper pending your degree. You don't know unless you try.

It depends on what kind of accounting job you are looking at. If you are looking at one of the Big Four firms than the answer is no. you are lying, because anyone who have two years experience in an accounting dept. knows that posing to be an accountant without a degree as CPA is against the law
