Would it be better to have a newborn or a toddler while DH starts grad school?
DH is trying to start grad school in 2009 and we are debating when to have children. We know we want to have one while he is in, but are not sure to try for next year or it being born right before school. I am a teacher so job is not a worry. What do you think?

A lot of it depends on what DH is studying. I know that at my university in Michigan, part of the grad program is being a graduate teaching assistant for some undergrad class in your area of study, which would take up more time than just taking classes and studying. It depends on if you can handle working and supporting him in school and taking care of a child. Infant, I think, other than the loss of sleep is easier than the toddler years. At least with infants you don't have to chase them.
