What are chances\scope of a person with 10+ years of experience to get a teaching job in eng. college in US?.

I've 10+ years of experience in Architecture\design\development of computer software with bacherlor degree in computer science and want to get into teaching job to teach in engineering college, may be part time. What are my chances\scope? From where do I get started? I'm not familier with education system of US. Appreciate any help!

Anything above a Community College level, you will need a Masters Degree in the field you wish to teach. Even with most CC and Junior Colleges, they "prefer" a Masters Degree, or at least have you working on one. Determine where you want to teach and find out their specific requirements. In order to teach at the college level, you at least need to have a master's degree. With your software experience, it might be possible to teach computer courses at a two year (community college), but most colleges require the Master's degree.
