I have a job interview tomorrow but need to cancel?

I had an important meeting pop up at my current job that I cannot miss. I also have a huge project I am working on this week. I already have a half day planned for Friday (planned months ago) and would like to reschedule for then. Is that going to look bad to have to reschedule? Also - The HR woman is impossible to get a hold of - I called on Thursday of last week to ask to reschedule and left a message but have not heard back. In her voicemail message, it asks that you do not repeatedly call her because she receives a high volume of calls and will get back to you in the order your call was received. Is there a point where I should just call again as opposed to waiting for her to call? The interview is almost 24 hours away.... (Also - Anyone familiar with the company Uline?)

If you can not continue with the original time for your interview due to more important things or at least very... More

She has undoubtedly picked up ALL messages, but has not had time to get back to you to do the rescheduling. It is very typical for HR Placement Reps to do this at large... More

Try calling them again. Leave another voicemail to show that you're making the effort. I'm sure that in this instance, repeated calling would be reasonable. If that doesn't work, is the company close enough for you to drive by and talk to someone? If you tell them that something has come up and make an offer to... More
