I'm an 18 year old male. I'm usually always home and feel so embarassed about it. Sometimes I feel like going out, but most of the time I don't. I think I may have clinical depression, but I'm not sure. I've been an introvert all my life, but living in the middle of nowhere has gotten me used to being alone. Don't tell me to join any groups or anything cuz I won't. I should get a job, but I have applied to over 5 places like a month ago and haven't heard from them since.

you may be depressed if most of the time you feel down but apathetic and don't care about anything- if that's the case, you could get anti-depressants if you want to start living your life (or at least feeling like you want to). however, if you're content with not spending time with people, then there is nothing wrong... Have you called any of the places where you applied. If you don't show some interest, then employers don't either. Sometimes all it takes is a phone call, and you may get the job (or at least an interview)

I guess I am, for the most part, anti-social also. I do know one thing about jobs, you must compete with other people to get a job. So putting in applications is not the only step you need to get a job... More
