Is it time for me to change Oil in my car ?

I bought a car on jun 5th . i think the total i have travelled is around 3500 miles now is it time for me to change oil , and if it is then how much does it cost to buy oil ? Do you think i can change it myself ? i don't have much money rt now , i am in trasnsition looking for a job. trying to save as much as possible , u know.

Cheaper to just take it to a walmart if ya got a store with a autoshop in it. it's like 18.00

if you havent changed oil before dont try it, take it to the dealership, or any local shop oil changes run $10-25, and they reccomend getting it changed every 3000-5000 miles so yes its time

yes its time to change the usually do it every 3000 miles.the price depends on what kind of car you have and what kind of oil it takes..usually you can get an oil change starting at $15.95 to $29.95,you'll have to look around for the cheapest and no its not that hard to do it yourself if you know what your... I change mine evey 3000 miles but i run on performance engines so you change yours to suit your car and driving... More
