why is there no info or talk shows about how hard it is for a person over 55 to get a job?

I have 15 yrs experience in my field, lost my job and can't find another . Interview questions all hint at my age but are never direct . i'm almost out of unemployment, then where do i go ??? I'm tired and confused

Over 40 and you are in the "protected age group". This is suppose to mean that they cannot hold your age against you. If you feel that your age is an issue then as soon as you are out of the interview write down the questions you fill were questionable.
