What do you think is the most difficult aspect of a job candidate to evaluate?

What approach would you take to evaluating this aspect of a candidate?

Honesty. To me, this is the hardest possible area to evaluate because you have their word, and their past in your face. I would ask a series of questions to check their honesty. Some websites or business publications carry such questions on a regular basis. Do a webcheck and I'll bet you'll find such questions.
