How long after graduating did you find an IT job?
This is for those who majored in CIS or CS in college. How long did it take you to land a job in IT? I graduated in CIS in March 2005, and it took 1 1/2 years to get hired. I then found out that it was an office job with almost no IT work involved, so I quit. After 2 1/2 years and numerous applications/interviews, I still havent landed a REAL IT job. I have a small PC repair business that I launched, and I'm trying to make it grow.
