I guess it depends on exactly what you want to do. I mean do you want to work in the food service area? You could attend culinary school. Perhaps you would like to work in the service area....meaning clean rooms, etc....it all depends on what you want to do. If you want to drive the ship well, thats a whole different... More

its a good plan to talk to some of the cruise lines. they can tell you about requirements of each job. schools which offer degrees in hospitality/hotel management. those degrees in a chef school. would be useful in some disciplines. good luck.
