Where can I find a job as a loan officer with no experience and has a base salary?

I am looking to change careers somewhat. I am in Sales but want to get into becoming a loan officer because for my love of real estate. The problem is that I do not have any experience or education for this position and I cannot rely on a straight commision while I build a buisness because I have a family to take care of and cannot go without a paycheck. Any help would be appreciated.

look at it this way: would you want to buy a house or get a loan from someone who has no experience or education in the field? you could apply at a bank to be a teller and learn as you go. i have a family member who did that and she's been a loan officer for nearly 10 years now.
