Magic Erasers work great. If its a big job got to home depot and get a product called TSP. Its powder in a box. Mix with water in a spray bottle and spray it on your walls, wipe with a wet sponge. It is very potent so you must use plastic gloves. I do intertior design and that is what we take to peoples walls before we... More

I really like Greased Lightening cleaner. It works well for me, and I also use it as a laundry pre-treater.

mr. clean magic eraser is amazing!! We rent and use them all the time. You have to test it first, it will leave a slight discoloration on certain paint surfaces. Try it in a small spot near the floor first to see if it will affect your wall paint. I would also recommend using gloves, the residue it leaves on my... More

I agree with Angelique ... small amount of dish soap in warm water and large sea sponge ... squeeze your sponge as dry as possible and wash small areas ... from the top down. For scuffs and stubborn spots, switch to a microfiber cleaning cloth (they work like Magic Eraser but are much cheaper and can be used forever... More
