When will I start to see real resutls from my diet/exericse?

Working at a desk job all day packed about 20 pounds onto my 5'6 frame. I used to weight 155 but was always told that I looked more like 120 (I have huge breasts [dd's] but was slim & muscular otherwise.) I was always complaining about how 'fat' I was...now I wish I could get back down to that and then some! For about a month Ive been going to the gym 5 days a week doing 30-45 minutes of the elliptical machine or treadmill, then weights, and eating absolutely NO fast food. I cook my own healthy meals and eat according to portion size, and I dont skip meals because I was told that can backfire. So Ive been doing this and still havent seen any dramatic weight loss more than maybe 3 pounds & loose clothing (but nothing too dramatic.) I really want to see results to keep me motivated and I dont know what else I could or should be doing? I hear things like, drink more water or just eat less, but I am stuck here!

Make sure also you don't use too much salt in your diet, Salt tends to keep a lot of water in your body. Another thing which helped me to lose a lot of weight was to not eat at all for one day a week... More
