Im heading to Mardi Gras in NO this yr. Can anyone give me any tips on where to stay, what to see?

The Best and Cheapest place to stay is the New Orleans Guest House. It is located 2 blocks from the French Quarter on Ursuline Street. This place is wonderful! Mardi Gras is awesome, but make your hotel reservations NOW! If you are big into the partying I would try to find one as close to Bourbon(that's where everyone parties) as possible, however, the rooms will be more expensive that time of year. They have plantation tours that you can take, they just started them back... More
