Can I get jobs with an accounting/finance temp agency if I have no background in accounting/finance?
I have one of those useless college degree majors (geography) and am interested in breaking into the accounting field (low level, clerk, bookkeeping work, etc.) But I have absolutely no background in accounting/finance. I thought perhaps I could sign up with one of the accounting temp agencies and start with entry level work and eventually work my way up? But I don't know if they accept people with no finance background. Does anyone know?
