How to I go about finding a job building dioramas or models for museums or private needs?

I love to build models and dioramas and I've had many people tell me that I do an excellent job because I'm very detailed. I don't know how to go about working my way up to positions like this or finding jobs like this. Has anyone had experience that could point me in the right direction? I would really love to make a career out of this and make it something more permanent. Because I would be new at this, I would love to work with someone who already works in this line of work.
