How to create a MS access object in VBA?

I am trying to write a VBA batch process routine like this, Open multiple files, then process each file one by one. I was stucked here, how to open a file( filename already know) and turn it as currentDB. Please help. Thanks a lot.

It sounds like your trying to use MSACCESS as a Scheduler. Why not just set up a series of jobs on the Windows Scheduler to open the DBs? That's what we did. START>>ALL PROGRAMS>>ACCESORIES>>SYSTEM TOOLS>>SCHEDULED TASKS

What do you mean by "process each file"? What exactly are you trying to achieve? You can put the paths of each mdb in a table and once the MAIN mdb is opened it loops through that table and opens it. Of course in the opened mdb you will have to quit once it finishes... More
