How to become a police officer?

What kind of credentials do you need to become a police officer in Pennsylvania? I'm majoring in criminal justice at a university and am thinking of either being a cop or a forensics investigator. I'm not totally sure yet though. Thanks art, I want to be active. I can't stand sitting around in an office all day. What type of jobs can I get that involve moving around with a CJ bachelors degree?
