how can i find someone who would allow me to do any type computer work from home?

i am disabled and am home all the time and need something to do that will occupy my time. cant sit or stand for very long at any given time. but would like to be able to do something from home. trying to do some crafts to sell at craft show, not sure how that is going to work out will let everyone know.

You might also advertise at a local community college for business. Usually the bulletin boards are free but you do need to bring a copy of what you wish to put up and ask. You can advertise your availability to type papers and/or proofread.

Try contacting a I.T.contracting company as they have many people on short contracts sometimes 3 to 6 months or as long as the life of the project.

Contact your state Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation--they have job placement and training programs--and these usually include contacts that can help you find work-at-home positions. You might want to check Although it's a site for mainly blind and visually impaired persons they do have job listings that persons with disabilities can do and I believe there are work at home jobs there .

I heard that Swiss Chalet has order takers from home. But I think you'd have to be on the clock for that. I guess that really depends on how long you can sit or stand. Besides, it's like anything else, the more you work those muscles the more they'll work for you. In stead of making crafts to sell why not teach them... More
