What jobs should a Juvenile Corrections Officer (other than security) in the business sector?
I've got a BA in psychology and have 4 years experience working at a detention center and 2 years working as a teacher's aide in a Special Ed school. I'm curious as to what type of work those experiences could help me get.

Your experience working in Corrections and in Special Education could be translated to a job working with people (or difficult people). Maybe a job in customer service (like call centers) is up your alley.

Hi, I am so jealous. I wanted to be a JCO after graduation back in 1975 but did not pursue it....anyway, with your experience, I would suggest working towards a 911 call dispatcher or working towards the special needs career! Good for you! My son has autism and we need more therapist for guidance. Hope this helps... More
