My sister claims she cannot get a job because there is restraining order in an adjacent state?
This 40 year woman will do anything to mooch off of mom (age 75) to maintain her lazy lifestyle. I think that most companies hiring people will not spend the money to search for legal problems (www.lexisnexis.com ?) for every possible USA state unless the job involves something very senstive.

In these days, many , many people are searching for fewer and fewer jobs. A prospective employer has a choice of many people looking for jobs, and they prefer to just hire one who doesn't have any legal problems, someone whose only concern would be doing their job and not worrying about other things.
