How do you clean drywall dust residue off of hardwood and tile?

I am doing a construction cleanup job for someone and they have drywall dust residue on everything. I mopped the floor with Murphy's Oil but there is still a film/streak left over when finished. They have hardwood and also tile. Any suggestions?

First vacuum up all the dust with a shop vac, then mop in vinegar & water. Add a cup of vinegar to a gallon of water. Good luck! :)

Get a clean mop and do it again, and then again until it is gone. I would have used a shop vac first and then mopped. (Try rinsing the floor with clear hot water after the next wash)

Get as much of the dust as you can with a vacuum, then clear water on a damp cloth to get the rest of the dust, several times if necessary. Murphy's Oil Soap as your finish treatment. You are now going to have to use... More

when I redid my walls and did drywall, I vaccuumed it up with a dry vac, then used my carpet cleaner that also does bare floors. worked great and only took about 30 min.
