Can having bad credit affect you from getting a job?

To they take into consideration of a recent college grad. ( who usually has a credit problem)

Unfortunately yes. Many employers are using your credit history as a weeding out process. However I said many not all..

Some places, yes. My friend couldn't become a cop because he had too many overdrafts in his checking account. But it does help me sleep better at night to know that the men and women of the local law enforcement can balance their check books.

A BIG YES. if an employer has the money to shell out to get your credit history than yes. they do this to see how trustworthy of an employee they will be hiring . also to see how much in debt you are and use that as a marker to see if you would be a likely candidate for theft in thier company. not all employers do this...
