How do I prevent my new lifestyle from turning me into a fat couch potato?
My job has now become a home based night job and I love it, especially the saving on gas part. The only problem is during the day I feel like a huge couch potato. I do workout but I feel like I should be doing more than just watching tv and taking a nap so I can be up for the night to work my shift. Any suggestion on activities that will benefit my health and waistline?

Get active in something in your community that way you aren't lounging around in the house all day. And try not snacking or eating late hours while you're up on your night job.

Do yoga, its relaxing as well as very helpful to be in shape. And one more thing drink lots of water during the day. It really helps not to gain much weight. Avoid eating fried foods that are fatty. Eat more salads and fruits and fresh foods.

Get a jump rope. Perform intervals of 30 seconds with 60 seconds rest for 20-30 minutes. That should get your heart racing a bit. You should also weight train. You didn't mention what you do when you work out.
